Oscar Castro Ferreira

Oscar de Castro Ferreira was born in Lisbon, Portugal, and has been consistently travelling the world throughout his life in order to find inspiration for his artistic vision that redefines what interior design should stand for.

His passion for decoration started at an early stage as coming from a traditional family surrounded by antiques and art. It was a natural step to become an interior designer himself. In 2007, Oscar decided to create his first company and team in the interior design luxury market, trying to fill the gap between the new trends and the elegant timeless settings.

With many years in the industry and working with suppliers and designers from all over the world, in 2017, Oscar took his vision further and decided to create his own brand L’Habitation. An interior design and architecture company which aims to create and execute unique projects for clients who appreciate privacy and refined interiors without having to follow today’s clichés and tasteless decors. As Karl Lagerfeld once said “trendy is the last stage before tacky”.
